Acme Fire & Safety Equipment Co. Inc. is a small locally-owned, family-owned business. We first opened in 1955.Four generations work here currently. We are proud that many of our employees have been with us for over25 years. One of the things that makes us unique is that both of our locations accept walk-in traffic so that any individual can bring us their portable fire extinguisher and have it inspected and/or have the necessary service work completed. This allows daycare providers, foster or home care providers, as well as other small, home-based businesses to keep their fire extinguishers up to date. We also refill personal carbon dioxide cylinders for our customers their cylinders get returned to them. We do not do exchanges! We are a DOT registered hydrostatic station and complete all of our hydrostatic tests in house
